Yusuf Haque, Ph.D.

Yusuf is Exo’s Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering. He is a proven executive in the medical device and semiconductor industries with a track record of developing differentiated products and building companies that have achieved impressive growth and profitability. Yusuf has broad expertise in business management, sales, engineering, technology, and operations, and serves as an advisor to entrepreneurs. He is the co-holder of 35 U.S. patents and has served on the Technical Program Committees of IEEE for two decades. Prior to Exo, he was CEO of SliceX/Crest Semiconductors, which developed digital x-ray imagers for dental applications. Previously, he was Managing Director and General Manager at Maxim, where he established a medical product line featuring an industry-leading digital x-ray imaging chipset that included a chip he personally designed. At Maxim, Yusuf also developed blood glucose analyzer chips that shipped in high volume, components for medical ultrasound imaging, and ultrasonic self-parking chips for automotive applications with embedded algorithms. Yusuf has designed 30+ commercially sold integrated circuit products. Yusuf has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University and an M.B.A. from the Santa Clara University.
